My hallway is the one right before Mr. Golhammers room
I added a deeper blue to the sky, and detail to the water by layering white, grey and darker teal. Also, I added some pink and yellow sand. Soon I will add more white detailing to the top of the water over the sand and paint in the islands.
I'm practicing my paint mixing, and I feel like I'm getting better at identifying colors by eye.
I also really like the look of my paint tray. I started my poster on tag board with acrylic paint. It was hard to achieve the bright, solid sky blue so it looks grayer than the original picture. I use long, uniform, horizontal brush strokes to make a smooth and flat effect, like the sky.
In the library computer lab I edited my pages (which are not yet complete) and helped Jake Massey with creating his website.
The right most picture is the quote I will be using on my painting. The left most picture is the scene I will paint behind the words, I picked this beach because I thought the aqua and pink looked nice together (they contrast). The middle picture was how I identified and divided the colors of the picture for me to paint it. I plan on using acrylic paint.
Here is my dreamtime, which is now done so this post is a little late.
And sorry about the cropping mishap, I forgot to do that before I uploaded this onto my computer at home and the weebly cropping wasn't working :( I have decided to either paint, or represent the feelings, of snowy wintertime at my cabin (peaceful) or a fun night out with my friends in Seattle (happiness and excitement, independence). My email is being difficult right now so I can't attach any photos.
