This is my second Eyvind Earle style (Disney) painting, acrylic on white paper. It is a meadow with some trees. It's a different take than the one I did before, because it isn't spooky. While I used the same technique, it's more cheery and glowing. The motif is the large tree in the foreground, as it has the most detail. The art skill I utilized for this project was paint mixing and using the thickness of acrylic paint to create texture, as seen in the needles. The new skill I learned, or continued to learn and build on, is mixing and painting with acrylics. Also, the "Disney" style, with the darkest object in the front. The main art elements I used were value, color, shape and texture. These created harmony. The mood the painting elicits from its viewers is happiness, because the bright colors (like neon green, turquoise and purple) in nature create a cheery atmosphere.
